Management
Alexander Hermann
Partner & CEO
As CEO, Alexander is responsible for operative and strategic leadership at Redguard. He is an experienced consultant who has worked in the area of information security for more than ten years. He is a graduate of computer science with numerous other qualifications and certifications in the area of cyber security, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Dominique Meier
Partner & Head of Customer Success
As Head of Customer Success, Dominique is responsible for our Service Portfolio Management, Key Account Management and Project Management Office and focuses on our customer satisfaction. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems (ZHAW). Dominique is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He is also a member of various IT and information security associations, is involved as an examination expert for the education of IT apprentices in the Canton of Zurich and teaches as a lecturer at various universities of applied sciences (including FHGR).
Sven Vetsch
Partner & Head of Innovation & Development
As Head of Innovation and Development at Redguard, Sven is responsible for keeping the company’s attack and defense capabilities state-of-the-art and for identifying and integrating new developments. He is a graduate of computer science from the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) with a specialization in IT security. Sven holds various cerifications like OPSA and OPST. In addition he is leader of the OWASP Local Chapter in Switzerland and founding member of DEFCON Switzerland.
Philipp Mangold
Head of Consulting & Compliance
Philipp is responsible for Consulting & Compliance and is dedicated to providing our customers with comprehensive support in all aspects of information security. He has been working in the IT sector since his studies, including almost 14 years in the field of information security and cyber security. In addition to his degree as a federally certified electrical engineer HTL and his Executive MBA FH, he holds several specialist certifications such as CISSP, CISM and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
Patrick Schmid
Head of Security Testing & Architecture
Patrick leads the Security Testing and Architecture department. He combines more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of IT and IT security, holds a Bachelor in Computer Science (FHNW), a Master in Information Security (NTNU) and several professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC GPEN, CRTO and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer). In addition, he lectures in the area of penetration testing at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as well as a regular guest lecturer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), among others, and is involved as an examination expert for interdisciplinary practical work (IPA) for prospective computer scientists EFZ.
